A trip to Paris is not complete with out a visit to Ladure Bonaparte in Saint Germain des Pres.

Nor is it complete with out a visit to the competition Pierre Hermé. They make the most delicious macaroon I have ever eaten.... Passionfruit with chocolate filling..mmmm
Simply too difficult to resist... another patisserie this time in Saint Germain-en-Laye.

The Orangerie Paris

I'm in Paris this week for a relaxing stroll around the city with my sister who is visiting from Australia.
Today we visited the Orangerie Museum which houses the famous Water lillies by Claude Monet
It is such a light filled space even on such a dull day as we had today.
I loved watching the public move around the space as much as I enjoyed gazing into the water lilly murals.
I have some more shots to post from our travels in Italy over Christmas and the New Year so keep posted. x
