I had a great time today taking these fun portraits of the beautiful Nicola. 

HAVANA ALFAJORES

Last week my husband was in one of my favourite cites on business... Buenos Aires.

I spent two months there a few years back in an attempt to learn Spanish and while I was there I discovered lots of amazing things but especially the food.

Argentina is famous for it's delicious steaks but also has fabulous ice cream and sweets including these biscuits made by Havana which are filled with dulce de leche... Heaven.

My husband bought me home a pack of 12, the ones covered with meringue and I have photographed (and eaten) them today.

NEW LONDON REVIEW

The new issue of 'New London Review' is out on the shelves!!.
I had a great time meeting and photographing Chuka Umana, the new Labour MP for Streatham, at the houses of Parliament. One of the highlights was sitting on the Houses of Parliament terrace over looking the river whilst the editor Stephen Murphy interviewed Chuka. I was very happy to see my portrait of Chuka made the front cover....

I also had the pleasure of working with the food writer Helena Lee on another article in this issue... This month we made our way back to the Brixton Market to the very tasty Franco Manca and had a fantastic afternoon with owner Giuseppe Mascoli....
