SAGE, CHOCOLATE, CUPCAKES & COFFEE

I've spent these last days testing and in prep for testing.
The lovely Kasha Harmer (fantastic and super lovely stylist)was lovely enough to let me take home some leftover paint from a shoot I was assisting on last week. I have used these paints to create some lovely backgrounds on MDF from Home-base
You can only really see them in the sage shots but there are some more tests to come. My best mate Anna is visiting after a trip through Europe and she has bought back some amazing vintage textiles that I am going to have a go at shooting.
I've very excited to be joining her on the next leg of her journey in Lisbon and Santiago de Compostella.

FRUITY

I've had the last two days off and had a great time testing.
Yesterday I was at Justyna's shooting her wedding dress and today I took inspiration from the bits and bobs in our tiny little flat and the delicious baked goodies at our friendly local cafe Ottolenghi.
Here are the results.....
Lemons and Lemon and Mascarpone Tarts from Ottolenghi
Shaw and Smith Sauvignon blanc and Strawberry with basil leaves

Apricots and Ottolenghi apricot cake with espresso

QUAINT LONDON PUB

So many of the pubs in London seem to have been modernized and all look so similar so it is super lovely when you walk past a pub witch still has that old English charm.....
This is the Newman Arms on Rathbone Street, famous for their excellent beer and tasty pies. Click here to read about the Newman's very interesting history!!
